I worked for them earlier this month of January 2024, they hired me and yet late to tell me that I'm just a cover up for their suspended employee that came back on January 19th. There's no contract of me agreeing that I'm just gonna work temporarily since it wasn't in the job description when I first inquired about the position, and then January 17th, I received an email telling me that my last day working for them is today January 22nd.
Their management don't care about their employees and even the tenured ones never gotten any raise at all. Many had complained about the other tellers and yet Mlhuillier never give a damn about that, even when their current employees who had been staying there for more than 10 years never gotten that proper raise at all. The employee who got suspended failed to refile their request for their vacation leave after they spoke with someone to cover their shift, and went off without responding to the person who agreed to cover their shift and had an audacity to lie about their emergency. Even getting a fake photo of them in the hospital with tapes on their hand even it's not even their hand in the first place.
They lied about the reason of their sudden leave without refiling at all.
And now they came back from their suspension, I lost my job from there. Which is unfair and unjust.

The employee named Desmond Moreno in Woodland, CA office, needs to undergo through even some very basic customer service training! Instead of helping a customer by saying even not so politely let me verify the status of your money remittance transaction with our Philippine office then we will update you within the day or somewhere along those lines but instead said, that was the email said and thats all I have for you, nothing more I can do!.
That was very frustrating!
Its a pretty typical prima Donna type attitude. It reminded me when I was in the Philippines one time, not dressing so nicely and treated like the lowest class citizen.
My fellow countrymen my advice, just think twice when you are about to send money remittance to the Philippines, be ready to hold on to your easy feelings in case you will experience similar poor service as mine or more worse.
With that said, I am here feeling helpless hoping that within the next day or so, some miracle happens and theyll receive the money.

To whom it may concern,
This is to respectfully report to you an incident to which I have experienced in the above mentioned branch.
I have been a client for over three years consistently claiming xoom remittances monthly.
Just today, between 3pm to 4pm, I onced again claimed a xoom remittance amounting to US$800, converted into Philippine peso (45,344.00).
I left the branch with the complete amount but missed checking a piece of broken/taped 500 peso bill and dirty and old over used piece of 20 peso bill. I doubled check in the car with my wife and found all these.
It took me around 30 minutes to go back to the branch for replacement since I was driving home but decided to turn around and go back.
The branch's staff, a male, tall, bald man who released me the money denied that he gave me the said 500 and 20 peso bills, addressing my concern without courtesy, blaming me instead for not allegedly checking, disrespecful and blatantly lied.
I am sure he knew what he did because he had ample time counting the money before releasing it to me.
Partly my shortcoming for not seeing the dilapidated bills right away.
But not a reason for being lied about face to face, when the incident happened in just less than an hour. I am sure that the female staff with her knew of the truth since she was gladly assisting me with my concern until this bald man argued with me.
I am hoping that this incident won't happen to any of your clients in this branch, especially those who regularly transacts with them.
Please reprimand this man as this is not a good example of people oriented, considerate and honest staff.

M Basa branch san pablo.city -Forcing people for their insurance stating its mandatory , people are already pawning because of short money and yet the insurance is being automaticalky deducted from us , telling us its mandatory , very bad
I also dont understand why your services are very slow , i am the only one being assisted for the renewal of my pawn and it took an hour of waiting time without the person assisting me explaining why its taking so slow , person assisting does not seem to know what he is doing ...i had pawned and renewed here many times and this is the first time it 5ook very long just to print out my renewal receipt
Terrible experience , please train your people ...instead of explaining things on the long wait they frown at you and make the wait even longer

Yesterday June 3, 2023 was the first worst experience I ever encountered transacting with one of your tellers in M Lhuillier Mandaue 1 (C He Suico Building, A. Del Rosario St, Mandaue City, Cebu ).For so may years of transacting with M Lhuillier, I usually fill out just all the necessary information needed and excluded writing anything in the "AGENT USE ONLY" section.
After writing the claim form I submitted it together with my valid ID and the diamond card to teller who was chatting with one his colleague and took him sometime to review my claim form and then all of a sudden he asked me to write the exact amount that was sent so I told him I do not know sir. So I then ask humbly this particular teller " Is there a way sir that you could possibly track it for me in your system sir?". But instead of responding properly to a customer what your teller did he raised his voice as if I was a deaf mute that couldn't hear him loud and clear and exclaimed me this " KINAHANGLAN MAHIBAW-AN NIMU ANG AMOUNT KAY PARA E COMPARE NAKO SA AMONG SYSTEM!". I was shocked when he said this and very disappointed of his approach.
This means that this teller is trying to say that if I mistakenly write a wrong amount and it doesn't coincide with the amount in your system then it means I won't be able to claim the remittance.
With all my past transactions with M Lhuillier tellers that I encountered in the past were courteous enough and knows how to deal with customers properly. Anyhow, I then called my husband internationally regarding the amount he sent and I wrote it myself to finish this transaction.

I had been a client since way back 2020 and yesterday was the first worst experience I had encountered transacting with one of your teller in mandaue city branch near city hall yesterday . Usually every transaction that I make I don’t fill out the agent section since it is clearly stated “AGENT USE ONLY.” So as soon as I filled out the important details ,I handed it over to this rude teller together with my ID as well as the diamond card but to my surprise this rude teller wanted me to write the amount were in-fact that portion is intended for them since it belongs to the AGENT USE ONLY section.
So I replied that I do not know sir. Sir do you mind looking it over in your system since usually most of the tellers are doing it for me for all my past transactions. Instead of answering me properly and letting me understand in a brief manner what your teller did he sarcastically and rudely responded by saying ‘ KINAHANGLANG NIMU MAHIBAW-AN KUNG PILA KAY AKO ECOMPARE KUNG SAKTO BAH ANG IMUNG GISULTI UG ANG NAA SA AMONG SYSTEM’ in a loud tone voice as if I was deaf mute not to hear him loud and clear. So if that is the case if I mistakenly wrote a wrong one then my claim will be denied if it doesn't coincide with his amount on the system?!
Really?? But hey! I already Given the complete informations of the reference no. And the sender?!
His creating a problem out of no where,so what I did I called my husband internationally right at that very moment and ask him how much he sent and wrote it myself.
After writting the amount I gave it back to this rude teller. I felt insulted.
